The purpose of this document is to inform relevant individuals regarding the processing and protection of personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 and relevant regulations.
TED ISTANBUL KOLEJI FOUNDATION, as the "Data Supervisor" under the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, collects, processes, stores, shares all sorts of personal data within the scope of its activities, and ensures the protection of personal data in accordance with the principles outlined below, in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law.
It adheres to retention periods and, upon expiration of the retention periods, ensures that the personal data is deleted or destroyed in accordance with the law.
The data supervisor is TED ISTANBUL COLLEGE FOUNDATION located at Acarlar, 9.Cadde, No: 7, Beykoz / Istanbul.
Individuals who share their personal data with our school, either directly or indirectly, in physical or virtual environments, orally, in writing, or electronically, or who allow TED ISTANBUL COLLEGE FOUNDATION to collect such data, are all relevant personal data owners whose information is recorded in TED ISTANBUL COLLEGE FOUNDATION database.

I- PURPOSES OF COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data includes all kinds of information and documents containing personal data, including your private personal data, that you have communicated to us in writing, verbally and/or electronically when you apply for pre-registration at our school, during and/or after the execution of our activities within the framework of the business relationship, and all personal data is stored physically and in computer environment in accordance with the legislation.
Your personal data may be collected and processed in accordance with the legal regulations and obligations, with the purpose of fulfilling legal responsibilities, conducting the school’s activities, and maintaining the continuity of the school’s operations.
In compliance with the Personal Data Protection Law, your explicit consent will be obtained for processing, storing, and sharing your personal data, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
The personal data may be collected and processed for legal reasons and purposes such as ensuring the continuity of the school's activities, fulfilling its responsibilities arising from contracts and laws completely and accurately, and for announcements, conferences, statistical reasons, benefiting from events and informing about education and training.
Additionally, personal data may be processed for providing requested information, services, and feedback, as well as for handling complaints or job applications.
Your personal data is processed in compliance with the data processing conditions and principles required by law.
The processing of personal data within the scope of relevant regulations covers all activities of the School.
II- TO WHOM AND FOR WHAT PURPOSES YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS SHARED.
Your personal data may be shared with the School's application system, registration acceptance unit, student affairs, and relevant departments, in line with the fundamental principles and rules set out in the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, and in compliance with personal data processing conditions. This sharing is done for the purpose of executing the policies of these departments and ensuring security, under confidentiality agreements, with third-party service providers, including the information processing unit, in accordance with the School's operations and objectives.
TED ISTANBUL COLLEGE FOUNDATION does not share the personal data of the relevant persons in a way that would violate the Personal Data Protection Law. Personal Data is not shared abroad.
III- OUR METHODS OF PROTECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The security of your personal data obtained by any means is protected by TED ISTANBUL COLLEGE FOUNDATION as the Data Supervisor and/or by the relevant companies or organizations we work with within the framework of confidentiality and contract, by applying all kinds of technical and administrative protection methods, taking into account technological possibilities and costs.
IV- RETENTION PERIODS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
All your personal data is stored in accordance with the retention periods, taking into account the obligations imposed by legal regulations.
In addition to legal regulations, the retention period is determined by taking into account the suitability of the purpose of processing personal data. Personal data of registered data owners are deleted and destroyed within 10 years from the date of graduation and/or the date they leave school, and personal data of personal data owners who have pre-registered but have not registered are deleted and destroyed within 1 month at the latest from the date of processing.
According to Article 7/1 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, when the purpose requiring the processing of personal data is eliminated and/or there is no legal reason allowing the retention of personal data, personal data of those who apply for pre-registration will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized by TED ISTANBUL COLLEGE FOUNDATION.
V- YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA OWNER AS PER ARTICLE 11 OF THE PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW

To object to a result that is to the detriment of the person himself/herself, as a result of the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automatic systems, |

In accordance with the first paragraph of Article 13 of the Personal Data Protection Law, if the personal data owner wishes to exercise his/her rights specified in Article 11, you may contact us at tedistanbul@hs04.kep.tr or at kvkk@tedistanbul.k12.tr or by calling 0216 485 03 33.
In addition, if your application is rejected, the response is found insufficient or the application is not responded to in a timely manner; you may lodge a complaint with the Board within thirty days from the date you learn of our response as the data supervisor and, in any case, within sixty days from the date of application.
